What is chalked up beside the door
One page, posted at the entrance, repeated at the bays, and applied the same way on a quiet Monday as on a full Saturday.
Who gets through the door
Everyone in the building is 18 or over, with no exception made for a family group.
Photo ID may be requested at the entrance or in a bay, at any hour.
The floor can decline entry and is not obliged to give a reason.
Assistance animals are welcome; other animals wait outside with somebody.
What the tables allow
Chips are the house's, record points and hold no monetary value at any time.
Money passed between players ends the hand; a second time ends the evening.
House decks only, and personal cards stay in the bag.
Everybody stands at the change — this is the one rule the floor never bends.
Score sheets are collected at close and nothing is carried forward.
Everybody else's evening
Phones on silent, calls taken out under the canopy.
Ask before photographing a bay you are not sitting in.
Service stops for anyone who has had enough, and the bar's call stands.
We will ring for a car at any hour we are open, and we would much rather you asked.
